AnyIndian.com charges shipping cost to the items sold at our store. Though shipping literally means shipping and handling, we try our best to keep the shipping costs at the minimum for the benefit of our customers. Our shipping costs vary based on the quantity of the items bought and based on where they are sent to.
We will try our best to ship the books within 3 business days. If some books are unavailable (please read our Help page to know more about what we mean by unavailable books), we try to inform the customer about it within one business day. In such cases, we ship the books within 3 days of customer's response back to us. If things get delayed due to any exceptional reasons, we are always in touch with the customer through e-mail with regular updates about the order.
Our business days are Monday through Friday (full days) and Saturday (Half day). Sunday is holiday. Major Government holidays are holidays for us too.
To addresses within Tamil Nadu, we ship using Courier Service. It takes two to three days for the books to be delivered through courier service, once we ship them.
To addresses outside Tamil Nadu but within India, we ship using Indian Postal Service's Registered Book Post. This is done to save shipping cost for the customers. Also, we send by Registered Post to ensure safe delivery. Books will take seven to ten days to reach the customer once we ship them.
To addresses outside India and where Ground Shipping is chosen by the customer, we ship using Indian Postal Service's Sea Mail - Registered Book Post. Books will take few months to reach depending on the country to which they are sent. For example, to reach USA it will take 2 to 4 months.
To addresses outside India where Air Mail Shipping option is chosen by the customer, we ship using Indian Postal Service's Air Mail - Registered Book Post. Books will take one to three weeks to reach depending on the country to which they are sent.
The shipping times given above reasonable estimated times. We are not responsible for any exceptional delays in shipping.
